Dedicated to the memory of Joan Riley, who gave me her watercolour supplies so that I could pass along her legacy of life, beauty and art.
I was born in the small village of Marmora, Ontario, in Canada. I arrived late on life's canvas as an artist. During my first watercolour session with Maggie Tainsch in Barbados, Maggie challenged me with the words, "I can see you one day, as an artist selling your works.". Since then I have studied under Richard Hayman, of the Art School of Peterborough, and under the guidance of Steven Snider, commercial artist and illustrator.
My career in art has taken me from Barbados, to the Rocky Mountains and to the forests of Ontario, in Canada. And, my paintings are found in private collections in Barbados and Canada.
